This is what happens when you have a class act quarterback that loves your city playing for your team. Thanks again Drew! For those that don’t know, Lucy’s is a bar in New Orleans located a short walk from the end of the parade that ran yesterday for the team.

Superbowl XLIV Pictures
These are just a few of my trip… I’m working on getting the rest of my video uploaded. If you didn’t know I have one on NOLA of Mike Bell and Reggie Bush jumping into the stands after the win, you can see it by clicking here.
Superbowl XLIV

For those that might not know already, my job of performing technical support has it’s benefits and I will be in Miami for Superbowl XLIV working for my employer. I figured if there are no ‘ramifications’ from an employment aspect I’ll be doing a video blog whenever possible. It will be my first endeavor into this video blogging and I’ll more than likely use YouTube or Flickr for hosting my vids and I’ll try to embed them here so as to make you only have to visit this site.
Stay tuned to E.Net to see how the Who Dat Nation invades Miami! Geaux Saints!!
(still trying to get Get Crunk’ out of my head)
Saint’s Victory Burbon Street Video
This is now a few weeks old but just in case you missed it, it’s a video shot by Times-Picayune photographer Rusty Costanza moments after the Garrett Hartley kick propelled the Saints to their first Superbowl. Only in New Orleans can an impromptu parade start after a football game!

Saints Win NFC Championship!
Saints Pregame NFC Championship, originally uploaded by Ryan Ellerbusch.
I still cannot believe that the Saints are headed to the Super Bowl. It was a great night inside the dome, and I’m so happy for the city of New Orleans and what this victory has done for all of us who live here. Maybe this will make our city stand together and put violence and hardship behind us, hopefully for just a while.
Being on the field last night was one of the most memorable experiences of my life and I’m so happy that I was able to take place is such an event. After Hartley’s field goal was good the dome turned into a place full of sensory overload, as people did not know where to look and what to do other than hug everyone around them as quite a few fans burst into tears. It was a great night and I’m looking forward to the Super Bowl.
Geaux Saints!!
St. Breesus Prayer for Pregame Sunday’s
St. Breesus Prayer
Our Brother, who doth rule thy Dome, Hallowed be thy aim. Thy bowl doth come, Thy will be done, in St. Louis as it is in Canton.
Give us this day, our 20 point lead, and forgive us our doubts, As we forgive those that crumble before us. Lead us not into 3rd and longs, and deliver us from goal-line stands.
For thine is the arm, the aim and the pocket presence, forever and ever, Amen
I’ll probably catch hell for this but I thought it was too funny to pass up…

Gary Gibbs Gone Pecan
The news on this broke yesterday, but I didn’t have a chance to post anything…
It looks like the website worked!
Head coach Sean Payton has finally had enough of 2 straight seasons of dismal performances from his Defense. Having a stellar Offense in the NFL is great, but when your defense is near last in the league in a lot of categories it might be time to look at a donkey to pin the tail on (if you know what I mean). That time was yesterday when Defensive Coordinator Gary Gibbs was given a pink slip and shown the door.
The buzz with the forum-folk is good riddance, considering the past two seasons we’ve had horrid defenses, and after giving all that money to defensive line players and only getting 3 sacks from each of them. I understand he inherited a bad defense, but after three years for it to not show any sign of improvement?
Hopefully for the Saints this is a move in the right direction, lord knows we need a defensive genius to break our voodoo curse of poor secondary coverage. Who knows, it might just take a witch doctor…
Where’s Morten?
At the start of this year, I really did not think that the New Orleans Saints were going to have all of these problems. Especially at the kicking position!? You read that right, I said kickers. Punter and place kicker positions have been revolving doors as of late for the black and gold. We are on our third place kicker and third punter of the season, and we are only at the halfway mark. Can we expect Sean Payton to be happy with these guys after open tryouts were performed to land the starting jobs. And I almost feel like it’s the motion picture Major League when the roster was announced. Kicker Garrett Hartley and punter Glenn Pakulak. Who are these guys!? 22-year-old rookie Hartley is an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma, and Pakulak has been with six other teams since 2003. Let’s see if they can manage to get used to the locker room…
